Continuous Glucose Monitors
(CGM)
The best choice for diabetes patients on the go, continuous glucose monitors are easy to use and painless. Each CGM has two elements: a sensor that monitors your glucose at all times, and a reader with optional alarms. Read more about the four options we offer below.

The Dexcom G6
How the Device Works
The Dexcom G6 comes in three parts: a sensor, a transmitter, and a receiver. The sensor is inserted into the skin. The transmitter sits on top of the sensor and sends signals automatically to your receiver or smartphone.
The receiver can be a reader provided by Dexcom, an app downloaded to your smartphone, or a mix of both.
The receiver provides automatic readings and alerts the patient whenever there is a concern.
The Dexcom G6 needs to be changed every 10 days.

Blood Glucose Monitors
(BGM)
Blood glucose monitors are portable, easy to use, and require no special equipment beyond the monitor and test strips. This makes them a practical choice for individuals who need occasional glucose checks rather than continuous monitoring.
EasyMax V
How the Device Works
Blood Glucose Monitors are small and portable devices that are used to check your glucose levels. You are able to get this reading by inserting a testing strip into the device. Once this is inserted, you would need to prick your finger with your lancing device and lancet to draw a sample of whole blood. With this sample, you would place the blood on the testing strip and read the results.
