Pulse Oximeters

A pulse oximeter is a medical device that indirectly monitors the oxygen saturation of a patient’s blood and changes in blood volume in the skin. They are often used to monitor how successful PAP or O2 therapy is for a patient. They may also be used without a PAP machine or O2 concentrator to determine if the patient is actually in need of the therapy at all.
